Kitchen/Diner |
On the ground floor, the kitchen/dining area has a wood burning stove and long oak table seating eight people. It is fitted with dish washer, washing machine, fridge freezer and oven and hob with central work area. The kitchen has retained original features and furnished in minimal/modernist style while holding the integrity of the Venetian town house. |

Living area |
Located on the middle floor is a beautiful large sitting room with double doors opening onto a juliette balcony, furnished in modern style with very large sofa, lamps and open fire - logs are provided for fires in the winter. Flat screen television for watching DVDs and BOSE docking station for ipods giving good quality sound. |

Patio |
Accessible from the sitting room through very large double doors is a small patio area for evening drinks or relaxing. Wonderful views of the church opposite and wonderful down the hill to the Mirna valley below. |

Office/study |
Both bedrooms lead off a hall which is used as an office space where guests can work from their own lap top. |

Full central heating by radiators throughout and the upper floor is air conditioned. |

Parking |
There is no parking directly outside the house, but everyone parks a short distance down the hill. There is a parking permit for guests to enter the hillside town rather than visitors to Motovun who have to park at bottom of hill. |

There is a maid/cleaning service for all linen and towels. |

Larger groups |
House would acccommodate small yoga groups of 6-8 (all mats/ blocks and white board supplied) or small art groups. The kitchen sits 6-8 with great comfort. Additional lets and B&Bs can be found for members of groups travelling with party very close to Casa Fiorenza |

Bath robes, toiletries and a welcome hamper are provided. A travel cot and high chair are also provided. Casa Fiorenza is strictly non-smoking. |
Local facilities
- Motovun is a medieval town-monument with a golf course, natural spring wells and spa, horseback riding and a international film festival. Great restaurants, taverns, vineries, small gift shops, cafes are all around the villa. In the centre of the biggest habitat of the white truffle, Motovuns taverns and restaurants foster a specific gastronomic offering with precious mushrooms, Istrian prosciutto, gnocchi and fuzi, wild asparagus and Motovun red wine.
- Motovun is 277 metres above sea level and a source of inspiration for artists of different profiles and genres.
- The renowned Motovun Film Festival is a major modern attraction, held annually in July, bringing together leading film makers from all over the world.
- A speciality of the area are the truffles from Mirna valley below Motovun.
- The Adriatic coast is 20min away with the beaches and tourist towns of Porec, Rovinj, Novigrad... 45 min away is Pula and Brijuni islands national natural park.From Porec you can make a boat trip to Venice. Just over the border a 40min car drive away is the city of Trieste with great shopping.
- The Motovun giant Veli Joze (it was the writer Vladimir Nazor who transposed him from the legend into literature) is the symbol of the power of free will and of moral postulates but at the same time, he is also a message his fellow townspeople try to convey and that is the need to preserve old values.
- A fully equiped spa and wellness centre is just a few minutes walking distance from the house at the Hotel Kaštel
