The House
Casa Fiorenza is an architecturally restored town house in the Venetian style, standing alongside a lower entrance gate to the city of Motovun. Some three hundred years old, the house retains its original features on three floors and benefits from modern facilities, designed in with sympathy.
The main entrance doors enter onto the ground floor, where there is a large kitchen, modern and minimal in design with good quality kitchen and other appliances. Adjacent is a spacious eating area, with a wood burning stove, and a wet room is also located on this floor.

The second floor comprises a very large sitting room with an open fireplace and french windows. This floor is accessible from the internal stairs or from the street via a rear door.

In front of the house is a small patio area, offering lovely views of the vineyards beneath, that lead down to the beautiful Mirna valley. Opposite the house is the currently disused Church of the Madonna della Porta, offering a special tranquillity.
